Making Waves

Mr S headed West - to meet his sister and do some clearing out in Grandpa S's house. He is staying overnight (there may be a drink involved!), so I am a single parent this weekend.

Usual Saturday - 3 girls have to be in 3 different places at the same time - bit like the old I.Q. test we were given in P6 and P7. Useless questions like:

Bob, Jane, Tom, and Jill are taking a train trip. The left handed child likes to face forward, the blonde child will only sit next to a boy, Tom's sister likes to travel backwards. Which child has forgotten their ticket?

They should have tested us on things like:

Mum has 3 children, Eldest needs to be at work (A) at 11.00 am, Middle needs to be picked up at (B) by 11.15 am, youngest has swimming lesson at 10.15 am and dancing at 11.45. Which child should be left on the pavement?

I'm sure those kind of questions would have proven MUCH more realistic.

This afternoon, I managed to plant some Winter Pansies, and a trip along the canal with No 3 and her bike.

Here she is giving you all a little wave!
