Mist chrysanthemums

I had hoped to have some distant views of the 50th Anniversary Forth Bridge fireworks. Given the travel warnings we headed on to the Braid Hills hoping to see the high chrysanthemum fireworks. On a clear day you can see most of the towers but not the bridge span itself.

Instead the haar was hanging over the Forth and all we saw was some cloud lighting up in different colours and heard the distant bangs.

Fortunately I had taken the precaution of a few shots earlier in the day- so chrysanthemums of the more traditional variety make up today's blip.
