Place d'Italie a la Chinoise

A view of the Place d'Italie in Paris, on a day typical for this year so far: cloudy and cold (around freezing). The town hall (mairie) of Paris's 13th arrondissement is across the circle behind the bus; our apartment is about 10 minutes away behind us. The orange banners mark the Chinese new year which has just begun, with celebrations last night in nearby Chinatown.
