Monsieur Canard

This is a rubber duck. Used to be mine. Is now my grandson's. He calls him Monsieur Canard.
My grandson has a whole paddling of rubber ducks at home. But Monsieur Canard is the only rubber duck for bath-time in my place. And possibly the only one he has named.
Monsieur Canard is, according to my grandson, a very special duck. After all, he has a racing number. And go-faster stripes. And is bleu, the colour of French racing cars in the 1930s - and the French rugby team.
But Monsieur Canard's talents do not end there. In the bath, he can be a submarine. Or a speedboat. Or a divebomber. Or even a racing duck.
A rubber duck. And my grandson. Monsieur Canard. And Monsieur Zachary.
