Fond Farewell

It's time - or past the time - for this female Ruby-Throated Hummingbird to migrate south to a warmer climate. It's been an entertaining summer as always with these little birds. It continues to amaze me to think about their journey of 600 miles to make it possible!

I had some time and set up my tripod for the first time. Yes, the first time. Next summer I'll be ready to take a photo with the light in my favor so you can see the pretty green on the bird. ;)
