Combining the old with the new

This cutlery box has been in family use for at least 100 years, it may be even more.
I have a very small kitchen area and not much drawer space. This fits the bill perfectly, but assume that in a former life it did not hold blue handled knives and forks! It's looking a bit battered, but not surprising after so much usage.
