Heights, Muckle Roe

A fine calm day but been fairly cloudy, a few sunny spells in the afternoon.

Day off and up early to enjoy the day :) I got two loads of washing dried on the line and then the lawn mowed and hopefully be the last cut of the year :) Once the chores were out of the way, time to set off for a hike with Sammy dog. I headed north to the isle of Muckle Roe which is joined with a bridge.
Passing through Scalloway at teatime and noticed a lot of black cars and men in suits. Wonder if this is where Princess Anne will be staying tonight? She's going to the museum tonight and I've missed it with my day off :) And then opening something at the local collage tomorrow.

Passing the Heights croft today on my walk and I met a lovely friendly cat here but she wasn't so keen on Sammy. A very typical rural croft feel and look here. The Heights, Muckle Roe.
