Eclectic architecture in Lancaster

Lancaster is an interesting city but it cannot be said that the architecture has a consistent style, unsurprisingly given the city's lengthy history. These buildings are just down the hill from the Castle, which, now that it is no longer a prison, Fastaperture and I want to visit.
