Early Bird

A new friend of mine (who my neighbour met on the bus) is a Californian who for some reason has chosen to move to Wales. She has a friend in Texas who moved there from California and misses the sea birds and so she asked me to join her down the Bay early morning to get photos of the gulls for her friend. It's more fun doing stuff like that with friends hey!

I can't imagine ever missing gulls of all bloody things so I took her round to the wetlands nature reserve where there are far more interesting birds to admire. So on my bike at dawn after a night of rain, the light was gorgeous and the clouds dramatic and my random new friend was happy and so was I, feeling free in the fresh air. So that was my early morning adventure and I was only 20 minutes late to work.
