Inspiration

I'm trying to grasp some right now. It's been a dull day and I'm not motivated to do the work I should be doing. It is largely because since my boss left I've had nobody to bounce the ideas around with. It is silly because we were notorious for never really agreeing on how to do stuff, but we shared the same end vision and we worked so well together. I buzzed in with the creative stuff, he humoured me but also kept me from spinning off in the wrong direction. We'd throw the ideas around and pummel them into shape together, a bit of his input, a bit of mine and it always turned out great. I miss having him there. Nobody else at work really gets it like he does.

I need to find my brilliance to put a project together that will save the union movement and solve the pay gap. With the right input the neurons aren't firing like they should.

So I was thinking about what inspires me, and who inspires me and there is plenty to draw from really. I'm grateful for that.
