Afternoon tea

This afternoon we finished up a bit earlier as a colleague is leaving to start a new job. We went for afternoon tea, which is an unusual venue for a leaving party in our workplace! But very fitting for the person leaving. I'll miss her lots, but will see her out of work to catch up I'm sure.

We underestimated how many people were coming so the tea place didn't have enough tables for us, we ended up squished around three tables, and we also had two small children with us (they don't work with us, they belong to one of the people with us- just to be clear!) so it was quite noisey and cramped! It was good fun though, and the tables were packed with sandwiches, tea, scones and cakes.
