Reasons to smile...

Freemont Street

I don't often feel unsafe when walking around, even at night, but I didn't want to spend much time on Freemont Street- which is the "old Vegas" and is where there are lots of old casinos and where the Heart Attack Grill is located. It is apparently owned by a cardiologist and if you weigh over 350lbs you eat free. I'm just shy of that so I didn't go in. People have died in there, I can't remember the number but it was around seven since it opened in 2005. Their vegetarian menu is cigarettes. I'm not even linking to their website because it is disgusting. I'm just shocked a place like this actually exists.

Apart from that, we wandered around the outlets, spent some money and then headed to a pool party. We were both mega tired, me and my friend, but we wanted to see what it was like. She didn't get in the pool (it was well after midnight) but I did, and it was so odd to be in a pool in the dark, full of people and inflatables, with a dj and cocktails. It was ok being in the water but when I got out I shivered so much and had to steal towels from various attendants (one towel each rule!)
