Maple Syrup Day

Another struggle to get out of bed, only to play a couple of holes of golf in the rain before returning home to spend the day writing reports. I have drafted two and a half out of three so not bad going. Hubby helped me tidy one up in the evening so it's ready to go tomorrow. The other needs some work.

Step-son arrived this afternoon and so we all enjoyed a curry tonight. It was one cooked at home so didn't contravene my "no take-aways" rule from now until the 14 May. Also no alcohol till the 14 May! Except at Wed lunchtime when the padres use communion wine (it's an anglican thing!).

We had some obligatory pancakes! And the Maple Syrup was opened and quite a bit used!
