First cuddle with Mummy.

This little lady kept us waiting, being thirteen day over her due date mummy went into hospital on the Tuesday to be induced. Nana had come down to stay & look after Grace.

They gave mummy a pessery then it's just a waiting game, by 2am I was 2 cm dilated & the midwife gave me a sweep, by 3.30am I could tell everything had started. Daddy came into hospital at 7am & by 9.30am we were taken down to the labour ward. On lots of gas & air (& daddy says lots of swearing) a little girl arrived at 12.08pm 8.9lb

She was very beautiful completely un-squished as her head hadn't been engaged, she reminded me of Grace, amazing long eyelashes, long fingers with perfect nails, a little less dark hair & long body.

After lots of cuddles & photos with Mummy & Daddy the Doctors came to check on Mummy as she had high blood pressure, they wanted to keep her in & do some blood tests.
