Watery Wednesday with the ducks.............

I visited our local garden centre a few days ago to find a rather nice collection of ducks and geese have been released on to the pond. Previously there were moorhens, coots and mallards. Now Smews, Golden Eyes, Tufted ducks and Egyptian Geese have joined our native species.

Watery Wednesday blip is a photograph of a female Golden Eye. I really like the shapes the duck is making as she swims along, also the colour of the water is rather lovely as well.
