Referendum Eve
I have photographed the statue of Robert the Bruce on the esplanade of Stirling Castle many times and may even have blipped it previously. I thought it was however an appropriate image on the eve of what will be a historic day for Scotland. The battle for independence will be fought at the ballot boxes across the country and not as it was 700 years ago at Bannockburn a short distance from where Bruce proudly stands.
It is too close to call.
