Russia Day 4.- Moscow Metro

We had our final morning in Moscow which included travelling on the Metro. Apart from being fast and efficient, the Metro is renowned for the architecture of its stations, many of which are magnificently decorated and built in varying colours of marble. Some also have ornate ceilings and statues.
Since lunchtime we have been cruising the Moscow Canal on our way to St Petersburg and have had a lesson on learning Russian.
