Saltire

Today's the day ........................ to vote

I may not have a say in the outcome, having long lived south of the border - but my thoughts are with the people of Scotland today as they go and cast their votes in the Referendum.

The most Scottish-looking thing that I could find in the house was this chocolate saltire made by the wonderful Moniaive Chocolatiers. I hope that the fact that it is well past its sell-by-date and it was left on the window sill in the sun and so it's gone a bit bendy - will have no deep significance.

One thing's for sure - whatever the result of today's voting is - things will never be the same again for all the residents of the United Kingdom .................
