A vegetable feast

With apologies for another vegetable shot.
The imminence of our departure has meant that I've been trying to start clearing the garden. This is the result of today's clearance and with only two of us here, we are not keeping on top of the consumption aspect of things.
Pride of joy today goes to the Okra top right with eventually enough at one time to make a small dish. Great taste and peculiar texture but certainly one of my favourite vegetables. They are actually pretty plants with a great flower - related to the Hibiscus - and I'll be planting more next year. Hopefully with a hotter Summer they will crop earlier.
The other surprise is the potimarron - the orange thing in the foreground - which we planted very late but has still managed to produce several fruits.
