The Eyes Of The World Are Upon Us
A strange day at work as we all reflected on the referendum and continued to wonder what it will all mean for us. Personally, I felt increasingly cut off from the outside world by the ever-thickening mist over Edinburgh. I had a couple of things to do at lunchtime so escaped to the outside world of George Street and Princes Street. It did feel different as there were very few campaigners around. There was a quiet calmness.
The eyes of the world are well and truly upon Scotland. Here is TVA’s man in Edinburgh – broadcasting from the bottom of The Mound at lunchtime. I am sure the people of Quebec will be very interested in the outcome. I wonder if he realised that the plinth, on which he stands, is covered in yeses.
