A World Away....

As the forecast was meant to be good today I had two choices - housework or fresh air! You can probably guess what was relegated into second place.

I went for a walk in The Peak District. I started in Ashford-in-the-Water and walked towards Monsal Head, down Monsal Dale and then back towards Ashford via Great Shacklow Wood. A perfect day!

So much to see and photograph. Lovely Autumn light and the trees are just starting to turn. Plenty of wildlife, including one of my favourite river birds - the dipper.

The shot here is one I took at the end of the walk. He looked like he was having such a peaceful time, just fishing.

I still only had my reading sunglasses again today, but that was OK as it was so sunny!
