The Memorial, Ashwick Flat, Fairlie

I'm down in the Mackenzie Country again this weekend, hoping for clear skies on Mount John tomorrow night so I can take some astro photos.

On my way through, I stopped in Ashwick Flat, just outside Fairlie, to grab this shot looking up past the Ashwick Flat War Memorial up Clayton Road, towards Fox Peak in the distance.

Snow is forecasted for Tekapo over the next couple of days, but I'm hoping that the white stuff stays aways. After all, I'd hate to get stuck in Tekapo and not be able to get to work on Monday... yeah right!
