Another Beautiful Morning in Fairlie

With cloud rolling in over the mountains and lake here in Tekapo as I write, I've had to go back to images shot from earlier in the day for today's blip.

We stayed at the Musterers Cottages in Fairlie last night, and this little derelict cottage is over on the next street. After taking some close ups, I realised that a long shot with the mountain backdrop would be a better composition. I love the old combine too, for that extra bit of farming nostalgia.

Tomorrow morning I'll be up on Mt John for a nature walk around the mountain. Apparently there may be some snow up there tonight, so with any luck tomorrow blip will be a nice snowy vista across Lake Tekapo - watch this space!
