Fishwife Supreme

Backblip 2 from Skye Holiday. The female of a pair of White-tailed Sea Eagles getting her lunch (one mackerel) from the sea off Raasay (Island). She carried it off and we watched her eating it on the ledge of a nearby cliff. Then she moved to a tree perch to clean her teeth, etc.
To see one of these was premier hope of our Skye 4 days. To get a shot was beyond all! We seriously recommend a boat trip from Portree — we went on 'Brigadoon'. We were fortunate to have aboard 3 RSPB personnel, two involved in the Sea Eagle Project, who gave us their expertise.
