Unemployment up here, unemployment down there.....

......even the former helpers of the unemployed are unemployed. The politicians may be congratulating themselves for reducing the increase in unemployment; is that a cause to celebrate or a cause célèbre?. There are still 206,000 families or individuals without a decent income and the self respect of meaningful work. I need to give this some thought, there must be something we can all do to help people fill the raft of un-filled jobs for which new skills are needed.

Elsewhere, I notice that Polly Hanson has decided that life in Oz is too much with its over-regulation and high taxation, so she's jumping ship to Old Blightly. Sshhhh......don't tell that nasty little racist what's happening here, it'll be our special surprise for her!! :0)
