Hitch hiker

Every time we cross Lyme bay we seem to acquire extra crew. This poor pigeon was tired and thirsty. It was ringed and quite tame and seemed grateful for some water.It rested for a while and then flew off when land was in sight again. I often wonder how homing pigeons must feel. Do they get home and then as they are loaded up to be released somewhere else think " Oh No ! Not again !"
