Lavender

Another grey day did nothing to raise the spirits. This afternoon we decided on a walk on the Howardian Hills near Terrington.

Following a gentle stroll we called in at the Yorkshire Lavender Farm to try and inject a bit of colour to the day. It is getting towards the end of the season so we did not see it at its best but there was still plenty to do.

I particularly liked this bed of Provence Lavender with patches of Pony Tail Grass. You can just see the Vale of York in the background. Ended up treating myself to some grasses to take home.
