Bath

Tonight I'm in a very nice guest house in Bath. Set off at 10.30 this morning and dropped Charlie off at a new holiday home and after a few minutes he was right at home.

It was a long drive from there - not as long as Wales in June, but it was nearly 4pm by the time I pulled into the driveway.

I've just been for a tootle round the local area tonight, and I really should be planning what I'm doing tomorrow, but I'm so very tired and, having had a shower, I can't take out my contact lenses because they're stuck to my eyeballs! Try again in a little while.

It's funny, I always feel a sense of despair when I arrive somewhere new. I don't know where I am, the area, and I just want to go home. Feeling a bit brighter now though, despite being tired, and no doubt tomorrow I shall fall in love with this place :-)
