Meet Jodi!

We have a lovely Austrian couple, Marion and Michael, staying with us for the next 2 weeks on the WWOOF program. Jodi is their lovely white shepherd dog....she is an absolute delight! she's quiet and all 3 dogs seem to be getting along very well. We were a bit concerned with the idea of a 3rd dog being introduced to the pack...but so far they are all doing well! Michael and Marion are absolutely lovely, they are both in their 30's so a bit different from the usual wwoofers we get.....they are usually in their early 20's. It is quite a different experience having more mature folks staying with us.

Spent the day glazing, decorating and loading the kiln...it's on right now and there are a few little 'experiments'.....should be exciting opening it up tomorrow evening.

I've had an interesting time watching the whole Scottish referendum taking place over the past few days.....having been away from Scotland for 40 years i have to confess i haven't really paid enough attention to the whole situation to be able to make an informed decision. But i have been very impressed with the coverage it has gotten on CBC etc, and i can only believe that this historic event can lead to a better relations with them south of the border!

off to loose some money play poker with the O'Briens on Big Harbor Road, this evening...should be entertaining!
