There was no new world order when I woke up this morning and the mood of the morning after the night before was rather flat. It seemed that both sides were prepared to move forward together but the scenes emerging from George Square were disgusting. I hope it quickly settles down.

Carlos and I got new phones today so I spent the evening setting mine up including using spotify for the first time. I then spent some blissful time, headphones in, eyes closed, hairs on the back of my neck with the kind of peaceful joy that only comes from listening to music that someone you care about has recommended and finding a shared connection in the fact that you love it too.
