Dinner Party

I had a small group of old friends over for some peanuts tonight. I was living dangerously because my landlords believe if I don't feed the pigeons they won't come around. That has proven to be wrong, but I honor their wishes because it is their house after all and I want to stay in good standing as a tenant. Tonight, however, they are in London so I bent the rules a bit and invited some of the pigeons over for old time's sake. Fortunately for me, the 100+ other ones sitting on the wires above the house didn't join the small flock dining on the patio.
