Sun always brings de-light

Today was a great day for family. Work sucks, but you know how that is.

Our oldest son being nearly 5 will start kindergarten this September. We attended a parent orientation and applied to get him enrolled at our local charter school. It's exactly what we want in a school, but it's tough to get in. There were only 10 spots, and they give preference to those living in that city...and we live in the adjacent city.

Well we got our call this morning, and HE GOT IN!! We are very excited. There was a big chance that he would have been placed on a waiting list, and we were then going to homeschool him until he got in. What's great, is our younger son will now be guaranteed a spot when he starts kindergarten in a couple of years.

The sun really was beautiful today. The thermostat got up to 74 degrees in the house, so it was fairly warm outside.

I took the boys in the yard for some play time this evening and did a little blipping. Of all the photos, this one was my favorite. It is straight out of the camera. No cropping or changes of any kind. I like it best this way.
