Fastest boat on the river

Isis Sculls today, 7am start to make rolls and teas for dozens of rowers. Of 400 boats these lovely four boys were the fastest on the river. Our young 11 and 12 year olds had their first races, and the older ones had some good successes but some tough races too.

As our 17 years old girls quad started pushing behind a boat full of men at least old enough to be their fathers we heard one plead in desperation "C'mon lads, we're not going to be beaten by a bunch of girls." And were they? Well of course they were.

I didn't go anywhere near a boat and I'm exhausted, so off to bed!
