Chateau de Grignan

We set off this morning for Nyons, an interesting town which today had a small market selling mainly local produce.... olives, honey , lavender. We then drove to Valreas where there was an attractive church and quite amazingly an Art Deco style cinema.
The highlight of the day however was this chateau which under some " doors open " type event was free to visit. The chateau has been substantially renovated unlike many which after the Revolution were left abandoned and empty.
