Missing Canal!

After a lovely holiday in Greece (Skiathos to be exact) I'm back in the UK and ready to upload loads of photos.

Here is today's Blip, a photo of the new section of canal in Stroud, I have blipped from here before but from the other side of the viaduct here and here This section was only completed last year and prior to that it was just overgrown scrubland. As part of the restoration of the canal that runs through Stroud this section was one of the most ambitious parts. Sometime in the 70's/80's the original section that this replaces (approx 100yards to the left of this pic) was built over by a new ring road and the other part seen just through the arches of the viaduct were used as a municipal dump!

I am now going to backblip my holiday photos from the last few weeks....this could take a while!
