Not my photo today, this is one of Hannahs.

Her first uni project this year was Park(ing) day. See this web page for details http://parkingday.org/ . It was a joint project from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years doing Interior and Environmental Design (or IED, but its a slightly unfortunate acronym..) Her group was one of 6 who each had to create something to fit into a parking space. Hannahs was just outside the DJCAD building and involved passers by customising a painted light bulb and hanging it up in the structure at a level that marked their height. It looked really good on the photos I saw but unfortunately I was working in tbe afternoon so couldnt go though to visit it.

And as for yesterdays vote. The nastiness continues. Hoping that after the initial disappointment for some is over, everyone can get behind the result although what I have seen on facebook and twitter a lot of people are turning it into "them" and "us"situation. Really sad to see such divisions remaining.
