Clermont Ferrand

We had a pretty dull start to the day, clouds but no rain and much cooler. The weather put us off walking so we drove to Clermont Ferrand. After a quick sandwich in the square near the tourism office, we spent a while wandering around the streets in the shadow of the cathedral. It was huge and made from lava stone, so, very dark and imposing.
