Cheeky brunch

Got up late because James just let me sleep, until he came in and said "isn't it about time you got up now mum?".

To redeem myself with my nearly ten year old, I asked if he wanted sausage and bacon for breakfast. Then I thought I might fancy some too. Then I decided that the eggs needed using so I made eggy bread too. I did cut the fat off the bacon. My concession to healthiness. (We'll not mention the cream cakes that james and I had this afternoon ?!?!!)

Coursework pile is shrinking steadily. I am pondering on what makes my students think that they have "finished" their coursework when clearly they have not made it past the half way mark. some are in for a big shock on Monday. I can feel a rant coming on.

Lovely couple of hours at friend's this evening. Sadly though, we are all teachers. You can't put three teachers in a room together and expect the conversation to stay away from school related matters for long. Was fun though. Thanks.
