Don't mess!
With two women on a mission to buy shoes.
Today was wedding shopping day and saw Lisa and I head off to Liverpool One for a shoefest. Lisa is my lucky shopping girl. It was she who spotted the dress for me that is now my wedding dress - she has a radar for things that would work for me. Today, it was the same again - we walked into the shoe section at a certain well known department store and there they were - my perfect wedding shoes...in fact, it was almost as if they had a heavenly glow around them and I could hear the angels singing "You must buy these".
(That might have been the coffee making me hallucinate though!)
Job done.
Matching handbag. Tick.
Lunch at a lovely Asian restaurant - fantastic Singapore Noodles.
Thought my camera had died on me. Gutted walking round liverpool seeing lots of wonderful blip opportunities, knowing my camera was in my bag and it just was not playing. CF card error - wouldn't let me reformat the card. Removed it a number of times. Rubbed it. Blew on it. Things like that normally work! (don't be thinking smutty thoughts any of you!) The camera IS ok, have put a different card in it and it's behaving - just gutted as its my 8GB card that's cocked up.
Anyway, further shopping ensued, to find Lisa some shoes, and also a different bridesmaid's dress to the one she purchased last year - something longer that she's happier with, which is fine.
More coffee. Packed train journey home and then a trying on session whilst I tottered round the house trying to be ladylike in heels and my dress. Teehee.
Lovely day, another set of jobs to tick off the list.
Then my wardrobe decided it had finally had enough and with an almight crash, the rail and all of it's contents fell to the floor. The wedding dress is currently hung in James' room. Not for long with sticky fingers ..."James - DO NOT TOUCH THAT" (or there'll be trouble)
