Edinburgh Community Food etc

Visiting Edinburgh's Western General Hospital for a day or two each week just now with one of the family I am struck by the sense of community and cheerfulness in the waiting area and the efficient speed with which the staff deal with patients.
At a time when NHS is under the microscope of politicians' deliberations and anxieties about future trends and developments we as a family cannot praise enough the facilities and services we currently experience.
The 'icing on the cake' today is the fruit and vegetable stall set up by Edinburgh Community Food which provides first rate produce -- all round a place where optimism and healthy attitudes reign.
