Where old meets new

Great day up in London celebrating my eldest daughters birthday. We went to visit the Crown Jewels. Nothing like some bling to make the day fun. We were also priviliged to see these amazing poppies spilling out of the tower into the most. One poppy for every life lost in the First World War. They now stretch right around the moat. After the jewels we travelled up the river by boat to have lunch in Polpo followed by some shopping then off to see the flat she moved into this weekend. Busy day but great fun. Now I just hope I don't fall asleep and miss my station going home !!
