Where's Jeff

I feel like I've been asking this for ages now.

Remember how i said a few weeks back that i had bought Kanye the purple wiggles 'Jeff' doll? Remember how I've been waiting for it to arrive?

Well last week i contacted the seller and said that it had been 4 week since i purchased it and it hadn't arrived when it was meant to , 2 weeks after purchase.

They couldn't find it, Aus and nz post couldn't find it, so the company sent me another last week and it arrived today! I messaged them to say i'd received the second Jeff but still not the first. They still weren't sure what happened.

But hey he's here and Kanye's face lit up when i let him open it. Thats what i wanted- to make him happy.

Kanyes still really chesty, i put vicks on the soles of his feet last night, which did reduce his coughing, but today hes really blocked up still. Harper also woke this morning croaky and sniffly. Hes been pretty miserable today grizzling and tugging at me constantly to pick him up, which i have been doing. I know all he wants is me so I've been doing my best, the front pack/back pack has been really helpful for when I've needed to take care of kanye or do something, Harper is still attached to me but its more hands free for me.

I've had a pretty productive day despite having two sick babies- i put together a ratatouille which is cooking in the slow cooker for my sister in laws wedding in November, i'm going to make two lots and freeze it until the day.

I also went and got a few things for the holidays and started prepping some things like the coloured pasta i did last holidays except the gloves i was wearing must have had a hole as now my hands are multicoloured!

Usually by now i'd be starting on my garden - growing lots of different veg but because i'm not sure whats happening with the sale of this flat come feb, i don't want to grow lots of veg then not be able to benefit from it, so i just got some coloured silverbeet, spinach and lettuce. I also got some sunflower seeds, they're always fun to grow and its great to get the kids in the garden.

Marley had a great day out with his class today at ferrymead- he hasn't stopped talking about it and even said he went on a tram! Up until now hes been terrified of them. I gave him a high 5 for being brave.

Its his 6th birthday in a few weeks and i cant decide if i should have a party or not. Usually birthdays are family days but he's at school now and he has a couple of friends. I'm not sure how many of the boys in his class hes friends with as a few of them have had parties and mar wasn't invited so it makes me think perhaps hes not as close to these boys as i thought. Of course that's no reason not to invite them, i'm not like that but i thought if i did and Marley isn't that great of friends with them he might not have a great time. Ugh not sure what to do, there is the cost of a party too.. hmm something to keep thinking about.

Anyway blipping early to go take care of the 2 sick ones.
