One good turn...

... deserves another!

This little guy was drowning with his buddy and an earwig in a glass jar in our recycling basket.....

Unfortunately it was too late for his buddy and the earwig, RIP, (never liked earwigs anyway), but this guy was still hanging on and I took pity and emptied him out onto the path.

He crawled away, trying to dry himself as he went.

I enquired if he minded if I blipped him whilst he dried off!
He approved and let me take some shots.

Then, when his wings were suitably dry, he flew off!
