Islands
This morning dawned bright after heavy overnight rain. The woofers and I sploshed up the hill and watched as the distant showers, lit up in sunbeams, skirted us. Back home for a coffee with my beautiful fiancée before I trundled off to work. The delights of a boiler service, and the first one for ages on a boiler in a house which has changed hands recently. It would appear that the new occupier and the old occupier are at odds on a variety of things, and I am trying to avoid being caught as piggy in the middle.
The boiler service completed, I headed to Keith's and changed his kitchen tap, killing the water hammer that had been plaguing them for months in the process.
Home again to my girl and after a quick lunch we took the woofers off to the shore for their wander. It is always lovely there, the views to Hoy lovely as ever. The dogs enjoyed tearing around on the sand, in the water, over the rocks and through the seaweed. HV and I collected groatie buckies.
Today's blip is looking over the parishes of Evie and Rendall, and some of the smaller isles. I thought I would try a different view today and stopped off on the road between jobs. This is my 600th entry. Whenever another 100 entries goes past I am surprised that I have managed to keep on blipping. But I am still addicted to blip...
