Don't Mix the Colors

Lets be honest here, I'm one of those people who would rather sit in their room and read than to go out and play a sport... Today, theres so many forms of exercise that sounds fun but in the end... Its not. Last year i heard about this thing called the Color Run which spiked the interest of my sister (who basically lives her life in the gym). We made the decision and bought tickets to this event. At first i thought, 5k? easy enough.
Since it was just a fun run, most people walked it which was nice becuase if i even attempted to run, i'd probably drop dead!
The morning of the event, Emily (Kahler) slept over my house (after all, we were "running" buddies). It was me, Emily, my sister, and her fiance. Honestly, the ride to Philly wasnt bad... At first. My sisters fiance Judd is always entertaining, but when my sister stopped at the nearest Wawa and picked up a HUGE can of Monster, i knew it wouldnt be too pleasent.
As we were driving into Philly, there was a large amount of cars just sitting on the road, nobody moving any more than a few inches every 5 minutes. Of course during this time my sister decides that she was at the point where her bladder was killing. Let me tell you somethign about my sister, when she gets into a mood like this (or miserable in general), she has to constantly complain which basically ruined our entire trip. We swooped out of traffic and followed a car towards the Philadelphia Zoo and my sister decided that she wanted to leave and find a restroom. Emily and I just got out the car and started walking. These tickets were $60 each, there was no way we would waste it on something as stupid as a bathroom. After walking a mile an a half, we made it. We had no idea where we were going, we just knew to follow anyone who had a while color run t-shirt. As we got there, we immediatley hopped in line with the rest of the runners.
We jogged for about 15 seconds, and after that i thought, "What did i sign myself up for?"
We were dying, but we did it. By the end of the race, we were splattered in color and couldnt wait to sit down. From that point on, we now declare ourselves as #TeamDoneWithRunning
