Lake Lucerne, Switzerland

Our first day in Switzerland. A place that still manages to be this beautiful on a cold and rainy day is pretty special if you ask me. So many times today I felt that the camera wasn't at all doing my stunning view justice. I had to remind myself a couple of times to put down the camera and just be present in the moment. Lucerne is a gorgeous little city, and we went on a cruise on the lake to Mt. Rigi, which was stunning. The trip to the top of the mountain wasn't so amazing - it was freezing, with strong winds and harsh rain! But at least we can say we did it!

When we returned to Zurich we had dinner at a beautiful restaurant where we indulged in rosti and veal over a glass of red.
