Jungfraujoch, Switzerland

Today was amazing from start to finish! We were set for a big day, venturing aboard an unforgettable Alpine tour to the majestic world of the Jungfraujoch - Towering at 3,454 meters we were officically at the top of Europe! The tour from Zurich took us through Interlaken and landscapes that took my breath away, to the magnificent mountain world of the Bernese Oberland. Ride the cogwheel train from Lauterbrunnen via Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station. A crazy tour guide named Kid made the day all that more memorable, and I got to visit the highest Lindt Chocolate Shop in the world.

At the top we enjoyed the incredible world of eternal snow and ice. Visiting the Ice Palace, experiencing the breathtaking panorama view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace overlooking the Aletsch Glacier (Europe's longest glacier) and the snow-capped peaks of the neighboring countries. The down hill mountain trip took us to Grindelwald where we boarded the coach back to Zurich. The rain held off until this point which was very lucky and meant on our trip home we saw the most amazing rainbows!

Pizza for dinner and an early night, after a day that will go down as one of my 'travel' favourites.

This photo was taken through glass, from a moving bus, and has no filters added. Unbelievable.
