BIG HOUSE

Thorp Perrow Arboretum, in North Yorkshire, is a grand place. Although the autumn colours are yet to develop, it contains many trees of championship quality – they are the best of that species in the world.
This is the view across the lake towards the Big House !

I am still trying to recover from that cup football match last night – Boro lost to Liverpool at Anfield – eventually. After 90 minutes the score was 1-1. After extra time, 120 minutes, the score was 2-2. Then came the penalty shootout – Boro lost 14-13 thus creating a new record for the Cup.
