Turning

The hydrangeas are changing colour now, and it is almost time to cut a few heads for drying. They look good in a pottery jug, and at Christmas time a quick spray of gold makes them look quite magical.
Autumn also seems to be a good time to have a clear out of the loft! this is not my favourite activity! but now that some of my books are stored in new, lidded plastic boxes (with plenty of stuff put aside for the Jumble) it does feel quite satisfying!
But the lovely weather makes it impossible to stay inside for long!
