It's all Mine!

For many months there have been cows in this old ridged field, so Russet and I were delighted to find that it was free at long last. The entry to the field for walkers is via a stile and a dog lift - Russet can hardly wait for me to lift this up before dashing through it, taking a sharp right turn and running, running right to the end of the field before stopping! She has done this here ever since she was a puppy.
A busy day followed, ending with a committee meeting of our WI - and planning for a certain annual party was on the agenda - but I won't mention the word here! After all, it is still warm and sunny and we're wearing summer clothes!
